Day Five. . . the trip to Firebaugh

We got started late leaving Ashland and arrived at our destination a whole hour and a half early!  Jon has a GREAT chauffeur and she doesn't mind going slightly faster than the speed limit. . . okay WAY faster.  Any hoooooooo!  Jon did not sleep well last night - my nightmare and 'loud breathing' kept him awake. . .oops.  I guess he passed his time talking to Kaylee Caffeinated Loop through text in the wee hours of the morning.  Thank goodness she was amped so he wasn't alone!!!!  LOL!!!
The trip was a stop and go kind of thing but that is okay!  We travel how we travel without pressure or being uptight. . . unless someone is going SLOWER THAN. . . ummmmm, excuse my rant. . . I'm breathing.  I snapped a picture of Jonathan sweetly sleeping, for. . . a few hours. . . as I serpentined in and around cars that just happened to be going slower than I knew Jon wanted them to be.  I am certain he would have said something had he been awake!  I was happy to oblige without being asked. . . tee hee.
Jonathan took some great and not so great pictures and video blogged a bunch of crazy stuff, which he will post.  I promise I will post mine when we get to the Hotel tomorrow.
Together we made an executive decision to change hotels from Venice Beach to Sherman Oaks.  We mutually decided that the pictures on the live camera feed were not the same as what the pictures on their website showed soooooooooo. . . we be at a much better place for the same price and we are closer to Gordon and Michelle.  YAY!!!!
People have been telling us all day that their CDs had arrived!  That is so cool!!!  You received them so quickly which makes us happy!
Now it is time to relax and enjoy the evening!  Warms surrounding hugs to all of you!!!

Day four

We are in Ashland, relaxing.  Jon had fun on the trip here making videos!  I got some great shots of him as well but we will post those later.  When we first got in the car, Jon was white as a sheet.  It hit him that we were really on our way!
We went to the post office and mailed out all the CDs then drove to the store for some "Travel Treats."  While there, the sales clerk started talking to Jon, and was asking questions.  When it got to the question "What fun things are you doing this weekend?" He seized the opportunity to tell her a small bit about his adventure.  One thing lead to another and she said she would talk to one of the writers for the local newspaper about him.  Jon gave her a CD to listen to, which she gladly accepted with great enthusiasm!
As we walked out of the store, Jon's color started to return once again to his face!  He turned to me and said, with much confidence, "Let's go get famous!"  We then laughed, put the 'treats' into the car, as well as ourselves and got the heck out of dodge.

Day Three

Today we were burning fools!  Between Jon and I we burned 200 DVDs for all of you!  It went much faster than we had thought but it was a good day.  Did lots of reading and work between burns so it was a very productive day!  For those of you who participated in the contest last September, your CDs are here and Jon will be signing his life away as soon as Stephen arrives with the box! He is our life saver today!  He is driving them from Tigard to Sunriver just so we can have them out to you in the mail tomorrow! We bow down to him!!!! Woo hoo!!!!!!!  Thank you to EVERYONE that participated!  So much fun!  You're names were plastered all over our office on super cute pieces of paper!
Tomorrow is the big day!  Heading out in the afternoon, taking our time, just going as far as Ashland.  Looking forward to a great time there!  Watch for the posts!

Day two

Jonathan and I, both hope that you wore your PURPLE proudly today!!!!  Bullying of ANY KIND on ANY LEVEL of ANYONE is NOT TOLERATED!!!!!!! Be proud of who you are because who you are is SPECTACULAR!!!!

Day 1 headed South

Jon has been working really hard on the editing of the video and it is 99.99% finished!  We packed up and left the house, Stephen and the dog and headed to Sunriver for a much needed rest.  Jon fell asleep on the way here and was twitching to beat the band.  The stress was leaving the body!  He's out on a bike ride and enjoying the fresh air and nature.  This place is very calming to him and so, I'm glad we've taken a couple of days for him to chill.

The CD's will be here on Thursday so look for yours in the mail a few days later!!!!!  Don't forget that the Premiere is November 6th!!!  Did you order your sweatshirt or T-shirt, yet? You have until the 22nd to do so if you want it back by the Premiere!

Taking a break from the shoot yesterday. . .

As you can tell by this clip, the group of actors and crew had a great time together!  Everything went so smoothly that the shoot wrapped about 6 hours sooner than we had planned!  Thanks to everyone involved both behind the scenes and in the middle of the action!  What a GREAT group of people!  The following is rare footage of a Director/Videographer getting a chance to cut loose at the wrap!

What was really special about the group of actors and crew was, that yesterday was the first and only time they had all met and been together!  It was an incredible process to watch as those who had not know each other before, became almost an instant team of friends and players!  Even on the spur of a moment, Jordan Mackor joined the cast as a party participant and played geniously to Molly Pyle's hilarity!!!
