Hey everyone! This is a video for Behind the Scenes for my upcoming music video for "If You're on the Same Level." Enjoy!!

HUGE DAY FOR JON!

Jon and I woke up this morning and met in the office for our morning "oh my goodness I can't believe I woke up this early" meeting.  To our surprise, Stephen was in there standing behind my desk!!!!  We were so excited!  He's so talented in his own right and he is doing the videography for this video!  The mapping of camera angles began!!!!

Right now they are both downstairs doing the battle of the songs while reheating my homemade chicken soup to eat for breakfast!  Hilarious!

Today Jon has a huge photo shoot with Natalie Green, a friend and wonderful photographer!  She has generously volunteered her time and energy to help Jon with this project.  Not only is she doing the shoot but she is in the video as well!  So excited to have her on this journey with us!  So the shoot is from 1-3 this afternoon and then Natalie said she could stay and shoot some of the scenes behind the dance  today.

Aaron Aparicio is the Choreographer and has been equally a generous with his time and talents!  He has spent endless hours working on this project and is also going to school full time!  He was here yesterday working with Jon and will be here again this afternoon for yet another dance rehearsal!

I, of course, will be doing all the behind the scenes paperwork, verifications on rental equipment, catering, credits, etc.  making changes to itinerary (additions) and setting EVERYTHING about this video in stone!

First dance rehearsal starts today but Jon wanted to run through the song and improv so he could get some of the timing down.  Adding some funny still shots as well.  Lot's of video behind the scenes footage being shot.  Look for more to come!

As I type this. . . .

As I type this blog, Jon is over on his computer at a seminar with both Eric Galen and Michelle Lewis.  (Pictures to be posted later tonight.)  This is REAL people!!!!  REAL!!!!  Way cool to be watching him.  Dang. . .pizza's at the door. . . have to go. . . Hearts and Hugs!

Good Morning!

Well everything is set in stone.  The reservations for the journey are done, the sessions with both Gordon and Michelle are all done, we've got our special Disneyland tickets so we can trick or treat on Halloween.  Jon is nervous but really calm all at the same time.  He's really a Pro!  This journey has been amazing to watch unfold!
Not only do we plan on what has been set in stone BUT, we are going to do the "drive by" in Beverly Hills and Do the Hollywood walk of fame. . . we are going to check to see if Jon's star is there yet. . . stay tuned!  We are going to end our first run to LA with a trip to Disneyland for Halloween!  Jon has a brick there between California Adventure and the Magic Kingdom.  We will check that out!  Look for exciting pictures on this blog as we document this incredible opportunity and adventure!

Woo hoo!!!!

Reservations are all taken care of and so Jonathan's journey will begin October 22!  We thought it was going to begin a week earlier than that but we are happy to say that David Brown was kind enough to schedule all writing sessions with both Gordon Pogoda and Michelle Lewis during the same week.  Jon is going to be one busy songwriter during the week of October 25th!!!!!  He may get one day off. . . perhaps Wednesday.  Doubtful!
To end the first leg of this adventure, we are going to go to Disneyland where we will spend a fun filled Halloween night!  We will actually park hop for a total of three days then journey home.  The adventure, however, does not end there. . . . . . . . . .

Okay!  Okay!  We are going to leave the contest open until Wednesday October 6.  Then it's closed for sure!  LOL!!!  As you can tell we actually honored all who bought the albums!  Keep the orders coming!  Make Jon's hand hurt!

Meet Gordon Pogoda...

The above picture is of Gordon Pogoda, a successful song-writer, composer, and producer. HE is yet another writer that I have been given the wonderful opportunity to work with when mom and I go down to LA. (Dates to write, TBD) He has listened to some of my music and is interested in working with me, so thanks to Music180 (David Brown) I will be writing with him! I am very excited for this incredible opportunity! I know we will be able to make something great! Mr. Pogoda has worked on film and music productions and his songs have appeared on many TV shows and Movies such as the Acadamy award winning "Little Miss Sunshine", "Get A Clue" starring Lindsay Lohan, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Hannah Montana, CSI: Miami, Will and Grace, Kim Possible, and The Twilight Zone. I look forward to meeting him soon! We will hopefully (dates to be confirmed) be working on October 25th and 26th!

Also, news with Michelle Lewis. It is confirmed that I will be having song-writing sessions with her on OCTOBER 28th and 29th! I am very pumped for meeting with her as well and creating some magic! All publishing splits to be determined as well!

So it's been a crazy start to the week for sure! That's the update as of now. I'm super beyond blessed! None of this would have happened if it weren't for all of you believing in my and helping me jump-start my career. I love you all and can't thank you enough.

Stayin' here

We are staying here and putting all the final touches on the video planning and trip planning!  We are keeping busy, working hard as Jon waits for David Brown's email telling him the final plan while in Venice Beach.  19 more days until we leave!  Lot's to do and prepare.  Budget is due to the boss's 'big daddy' by Tuesday before GLEE.   Piece of cake. . . . piece of cake. . . . piece of cake. . .
